4-H Old Timer's Show

The 4-H Old Timer’s Show is both an open horse show for adult riders (ages 19+) and a learning experience for 4-H youth (ages 5-18). While adults ride, youth in the 4-H Horse Project “learn by doing” by volunteering to help with show personnel roles such as show secretary, steward, ringmaster, and announcer. The 4-H Old Timer’s Show allows youth to both better understand of these roles that are traditionally staffed by adults for horse shows and to give back to their community by volunteering at the event. Additionally, this show is a fundraiser for programming in the Rutland County 4-H Horse Project. We are grateful for the many adults who volunteer their time and effort to put on horse shows for our 4-H youth and are excited to provide an opportunity for them to ride in one!
